Overview

ASG is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. Reporting to the Content Strategist and collaborating with the Quality Risk Manager, the intern will play a key role in developing and executing social media campaigns to enhance engagement, promote ASG’s mission, and strengthen our brand presence. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing while contributing to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, blogs, and curated articles.

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote ASG’s mission and services.

  • Design visuals, write captions, and ensure brand consistency across all social media posts.

  • Create culture-related content to highlight ASG’s values and team activities.

Social Media Strategy & Campaigns

  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies aligned with ASG’s business goals.

  • Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns to drive engagement and awareness.

  • Research emerging trends and platforms to keep ASG’s strategies innovative.

  • Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

Community Engagement

  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly and professionally to foster positive interactions.

  • Engage with ASG’s audience to build community and strengthen brand loyalty.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze social media engagement metrics to identify high-performing content and campaigns.

  • Generate performance reports and use data insights to recommend strategy improvements.

  • Leverage free social media analytics tools to monitor audience engagement and campaign success.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Support marketing efforts at ASG events by capturing social media content and engaging team members.

  • Collaborate with the ASG team to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

Platform Management & Optimization

  • Stay updated on social media platform algorithms, tools, and best practices.

  • Optimize posts for specific platforms to maximize visibility and engagement.

  • Test new features and implement innovative ideas to enhance social media performance.

Brand Awareness & Reputation Management

  • Monitor brand mentions and manage ASG’s online reputation.

  • Ensure all social media content adheres to ASG’s brand voice, tone, and values.

Internal Communications Support

  • Create and share internal updates, announcements, and culture-related posts to enhance employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field in the liberal arts.


Timeframe

  • Minimum: 15 hours a week
